Gear reduction motors (also known as gear reduction motors) are commonly used in packaging machinery, glass cutting machines, food machinery, automation equipment, etc Efficient mechanized production maximizes high-intensity, low pay mechanical work and is bound to become the choice of enterprises.
In the operation of gear reducers, due to the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy, a portion of the electrical energy is also converted into thermal energy, causing the motor to generate heat, which is known as the temperature rise of the motor in the industry. Under normal circumstances, the temperature rise of the motor in the Yongkun reducer is around 60 degrees, and exceeding 80 degrees is considered abnormal heating.
So when using gear motors in daily life, it is necessary to strengthen the maintenance of the motor as follows:
1. When connecting the reducer to the power supply, pay attention to the rotation direction of the oil pump, clockwise rotation is correct.
2. Keep the gear reducer clean, adjust and tighten loose parts in a timely manner to prevent further wear or loss of parts due to looseness.
3. Pay attention to the workload during the break in period. The workload during the break in period should generally not exceed 85% of the rated workload, and appropriate workload should be arranged to prevent overheating caused by prolonged continuous operation of the reducer.
4. Pay attention to regular observation. If any abnormalities occur, stop the vehicle in a timely manner for troubleshooting. Before the cause is found and the fault is resolved, stop the operation.
5. After the running in period of the gear reducer is over, mandatory maintenance should be carried out on the machine, and inspection and adjustment work should be done well, while paying attention to the replacement of oil.
During long-term operation, gearboxes often experience wear, leakage, and other malfunctions, with the main ones being:
1. The wear of the gearbox bearing chamber includes the wear of the housing bearing box, the inner hole bearing chamber of the housing, and the gearbox bearing chamber.
2. The gear shaft diameter of the reducer is worn, mainly on the shaft head, keyway, etc.
3. The bearing position of the gearbox transmission shaft is worn.
4. The joint surface of the reducer is leaking.
The traditional solution for wear and tear problems in enterprises is to repair by welding or brushing plating, but both have certain drawbacks: the thermal stress generated by high temperature welding cannot be completely eliminated, which can easily cause material damage and lead to bending or fracture of components; However, electric brush plating is limited by the thickness of the coating and is prone to peeling off. Both methods use metal to repair the metal and cannot change the "hard to hard" fit relationship. Under the combined action of various forces, the boundary marker mold will still cause further wear and tear.
For some large bearing enterprises, it is even more difficult to solve on site, and they rely heavily on outsourcing repairs. Contemporary Western countries often use polymer composite materials as a repair method for the above problems, and they are widely used due to their strong adhesion, excellent compressive strength, and other comprehensive properties.
The application of polymer materials for repair can be done without disassembly or machining, without the influence of welding thermal stress, and the repair thickness is not limited. At the same time, the product has the flexibility that metal materials do not have, which can absorb the impact and vibration of equipment, avoid the possibility of further wear, and greatly extend the service life of equipment components, saving a lot of downtime for enterprises and creating huge economic value.
